In China, Starbucks introduces the "Coffee Festival" for sugar-free syrups.


The chinese authorities, particularly the stereotypically high-calorie chinese tea and coffee chains, have begun to campaign for " " at the annual two sessions earlier this year, proving how healthy they are.


Starbucks, the american coffee chain, has finally made a leap by releasing sugar-free syrups in china on april 6th.


In the meantime, the coffee giant's "starbucks sugar-free new era" is on twitter, meaning you can have all the flavor without added sugar in your hazelnut latte or mixed berry americanos.


Xionglinger (), a bear mascot that has appeared on hidden menus to parties, is also available at the festival.

This year, starbucks has been heavy on activations in china, from its snoopy and lululemon collaborations to its "partner"-centric esg campaign.


Starbucks is now becoming more popular in the face of fierce local competition from luckin and cotti coffee, with the new push of sugar-free syrups.
