Anta sports, the chinese sportswear company, owner of brands such as anta, arc'teryx (through amer sports) and fila (mainland china only), whose results for the year 2024 were more than impressive, placing the group in the top leagues.
Anta sports' revenues increased 13.6% year-on-year (yoy) last year to 70.83 billion rmb (9.73 billion usd), behind nike and adidas.
Anta sports is already at the top of the chinese market, with a 23% market share and a revenue 1.36 times greater than nike china, according to pundits, with three brands, products, and dtc (direct-to-detail).
Anta also focuses on product innovation, with amer sports' revenues up a third, and with the anta group, the anta brand raised 33.5 billion rmb (4.60 billion usd) and fila's revenue increased to 26.6 billion rmb (3.65 billion usd).
Anta revealed that it invested 2 billion rmb (274.66 million usd) in r&d alone in 2024, indicating that there was no such thing as a franchisee.
However, anta's share price dropped to 8% in the ensuing two days as a result of anta's low-price policy, which is in part due to anta's low-price strategy.
